She was the main caregiver for him (doctor appointments, tests, ER visits, counseling, etc). Her and her husband even built an in-law suite onto their house, so he could live there while maintaining his independence for as long as he could until a few months ago when he went to a nursing home for round the clock care.
The funeral is in Pittsburgh, PA, so I'm leaving work early tomorrow (Cleveland, OH) to drive to the calling hours (2 hrs one way) and drive back that night. Would I do this for just anyone? Probably not. Not because I'm uncaring, but that's a long haul to attend calling hours if I really didn't know someone all that well, but because we are so close and I knew her dad and all the struggles they went through, I feel that I want to pay my respects to her and her family.
Funeral #2 are you ready for this one? I am still in shock. Please click on the link and read, or watch video. Funeral #2
I graduated with Benny Joe Strong and am friend's with his ex-wife. They have a 9 year old son. I feel so badly for everyone.
What are the likelihood of this happening? 1/500,000!!
Please be in prayer for these families! Thank you!
Yard Sale - I have been waiting for the weather to cooperate. Between sweltering heat and rain, this Saturday is supposed be sunny and in the 70's. Perfect weather for my yard sale.
I am NOT a pack rat and am excited to get rid of things that either a) haven't been used or b) I don't need anymore.
Bye-bye junk! :)
So sorry for the losses.
