DANG TEENAGERS!

I WAS planning a surprise 16th birthday party for my son (March). I had the kids invited, cake ordered, special M&M's shipped. Somehow my son found out and he is ticked.



DANG BIG MOUTHED TEENAGERS! UGH!

So now he doesn't want the cake that I ordered and is "embarrassed" by the M&M's (they have a little picture of his face on them mms)and really wants to cancel the whole thing.

I think the boys are coming and he wants to tell his friends that are girls that there isn't going to be a party. I told him he is NOT allowed to uninvite people!

So, I cried yesterday in the shower.

I cried out of frustration for trying to do something nice for someone.

I cried for myself (I love a good pity party).

I cried for the cool cake that was supposed to look like his driver's license (actually scanned in a copy of his temporary license and Monica, the cake lady (Monica's Custom Cakes), was going to make the cake look like his license.

Oh well. Today is a new day. The party will go on, just not how I would have liked it to go.
