Seriously, we have had a lot of ups and downs (which I'm sure I'll get into later on my blog), but we DO love each other a lot and thank goodness he can make me laugh. Most times my laughter at his "comedic humor" is just about his observations about something. Anyways...this morning I don't think he really meant to be "funny," but I was laughing about the scenario regardless.
I turned the tv on in our bedroom before I got up for work to see how bad the weather is going to be. This is what was being reported (which is nothing new or unusual).
CLEVELAND -- Here comes more snow. A Winter Storm Warning starts at 4pm today for much of northeast Ohio. As the storm system's components line up, it looks like we are in line for heavy snow.Saturday I am supposed to go scrapbooking in town. I am SO looking forward to it. I said to my husband, "If "they" (meaning the forecasters) think this snow is gonna stop me from going scrapbooking on Saturday, "they've" got another thing coming!"
Here we go- ready for another blast of snow? Looks like this storm on the East coast is going to cause some headaches for Northeast Ohio.
By the time Saturday rolls around, we could have areas in the heart of the snowbelt that have 12" to 18" of snow out of this. That doesn't mean the rest of us won't get snow. Everyone will have accumulations over the next 48 hours, but the heaviest snow is mostly likely in the watch area.
My husband says, "What you're saying is, you don't want to go to work because of the snow, but you'll go scrapbooking?"
WHAT??!! HUH??!!
I bust out laughing and said, "Did you just hear what you said? Um, YEAH, I'd rather go scrapbooking than to work. Are you kidding me?"
I'm still not sure if he was half asleep, being serious or trying to be a goof-ball, but I did get a good laugh out of it. :)
