There are a few things here at home that I still want to do, so I put those on my list too.
One of my FAVORITE movies is, "Shawshank Redemption."
Which the majority of the movie was filmed at the Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. Ohio State Reformatory It is now open to the public for tours. I will NOT be going on the haunted, night tour. No thanks, but I've driven by and still want to take a tour. 
"Two all beef patties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun." haha
My friend from high school, Sharon, has a grandma that lives a few hours away from us. She is last 80's early 90's (if I remember correctly) and still lives in her farmhouse on this spread of property. I've seen pictures and I want to go there! Visit with the Grandma (who is a real firecracker) and troll around on her property and take pictures.
Where do you want to visit this year??
I never thought touring a prison would be interesting until we went to Alcatraz. It was incredible!

ReplyDeleteSharon's grandma's house sounds lovely, but I don't know Sharon, so it would probably be weird if I showed up there. Do you think it would be weird? Ya, you're right, it would be weird ;-)
We're heading to England to visit family, this spring. I have cajoled the husband into throwing in a side trip to Italy - so I'm looking forward to that.
@Jen - My dream trip is to go to Hungary. That's where my roots are from. :) You are closer to Hungary than I am with your trip to England and Italy.
