Air Conditioning and Crop Circles

Air Conditioning and Crop Circles have nothing in common, but both were on my mind last night. 

A/C
I wasn't going to get the window A/C unit out of the crawl/cubby spot since we are moving soon, but it has been high 80's all week and will be throughout the weekend.  Our bedrooms are on the second floor of the house. 

Can you say, "HOT.HOT.HOT!"

Our poor dogs have been panting and miserable each night which leads to us being up all night.  Not good when you have to go to work in the morning.  The windows being opening and fans running aren't cutting it.

So out came the A/C and the dogs and I slept like babies.  Love it!  I have two bruises on my thigh from lifting the unit into the window, but it is so worth it.

Crop Circles

My son mowed down at my FIL's a few weeks ago.  About 1-1/2 acres.  My husband told me (didn't want to hurt my son's feelings) that it wasn't done very good and looked like, "a bad hair cut."

In my mind, I figured it was my son being a 16 year old boy, driving the lawn mower around at #6 speed and missing a bunch of spots.

I mowed our 2 acres last night at our house and I started to notice MY MOWING looking like a "bad hair cut."  I mentioned to my husband that the lawn mower was running "rough" (tune up?) and that the blade probably needs sharpened and is maybe bent.  IDK.  

I was having to go back around in different spots to try and even everything up.  I noticed I was making some "domestic crop circles."  

Nothing as elaborate as these pictures, but nonetheless, I felt proud of myself.  haha
