It doesn't seem like it should be called, "Good" Friday because of Christ being crucified when He was guilty of no sin, but without the sacrifice, there can be no atoning.
"Jesus, thank You so much for giving Your life for ME! For sinful, imperfect Patty who has broken Your heart time and time again with carelessness, foolishness and disobedience. Thank You for sacrificing Your life and shedding Your blood so that I may have forgiveness and eternal life. It seems like such a small token for me to say "thank you," but since You are my Creator, You know my heart and exactly how much gratitude and love I have for You."
Beautiful prayer. It is a little bit strange that it is called good Friday because it really wasn't a good Friday for our savior but what He did for us was good. LOL, did that even make sense? :)
